About us

Fundación CoMunidad is a Non-Governmental, non-profit Organization that was established in 2007, in Panama City, Republic of Panama.

It is a collective idea for cooperation that was conceived as an approach for the management of sustainable development with a transversal and interdisciplinary approach.

It works on the interactions of social and cultural, environmental, economic aspects through projects and concrete actions. The interventions of the CoMunidad Foundation are oriented towards urban and rural environments.

24 Malaga Festival

Forest Residues

Fundación CoMunidad and photographer Pablo Cambronero from Costa Rica present the new publication that focuses on the current situation of this water source, paying special attention to the mountainous region of the Cordillera Central of Panama, where the river is born.

Fundación CoMunidad, Western Colorado University, Drindod Studios and the Municipality of Tierras Altas in the Province of Chiriquí, developed  two new documentaries that address, among other key issues, agriculture, climate change and empowerment  of the woman. co-production  between the United States and  Panama will present the  films "IT KNOWS GOOD" made  by  Abdel Philos and  "HIGH GROUND" directed  by  Sam  liebl.
